Annapurna Circuit Trek Overview

The Annapurna Circuit Trek has been recognized as one of the world’s best trekking trails in the Nepal Himalayas. This trek is considered moderate and highly rewarding, not only for Nepal but also for trekkers from around the world. The trek is popular not just for the trekking experience but also for its natural hot springs, the world’s deepest gorge, the world’s highest altitude lake (Tilicho Lake, 4919m), stunning landscapes, and breathtaking waterfalls. You will enjoy the mesmerizing views of green hills and snow-capped mountains, including Lamjung Himal, the Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri, Gangapurna, and many more. Walking along the Marshyangdi River and through small mountain villages, you’ll have the chance to explore the warm-hearted and friendly people of different cultures, 440 species of birds and animals, top-class landscapes, and natural greenery.

The northern side of the region, Manang and Mustang, is influenced by Tibetan culture and Buddhism. Among Nepal’s 77 districts, Manang and Mustang are the only two districts beyond the Himalayas. Midway through the trip, you will encounter the Thorung-La Pass at 5416m, one of the highest points in the Annapurna Circuit Trek, offering majestic views of the Himalayas and the Marsyangdi Valley. After crossing the pass, you’ll reach Muktinath, a famous spiritual hub for both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims.

Come and experience the magnificence of the Annapurna Circuit with Ascend Treks and DMC. You will be rewarded with everything that Mother Nature has to offer.
