We are delighted that you have chosen us for your travel needs. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, we have outlined the terms and conditions governing the use of Ascend Treks’ services and our relationship with you, our valued customer. By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms and conditions.

  • General Booking Conditions
    • A 10% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Please also provide a copy of your passport, a passport-sized photo, and complete flight details.
    • The remaining amount can be paid upon arrival or during the pre-trip meeting at our office or hotel.
    • We accept payments via credit card, bank transfer, or other specified methods. A 3.5% credit card processing fee will apply.

      For Tibet/Bhutan Trips
    • A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total trip cost is required along with a completed booking form, passport copy, and flight details.
    • The remaining balance should be paid 15 days before the trip departure date.
  • Cancellation Policy
    If you cancel a trip after making full payment, the following cancellation fees will apply:
    • 10% of the trip cost if you cancel more than one month in advance.
    • 30% of the trip cost if you cancel two weeks in advance.
    • 50% of the trip cost if you cancel one week in advance.
    • 100% of the trip cost (no refund) if you cancel less than a week in advance.

      For Bhutan and Tibet Trips
    • A valid written notice of cancellation via email is required at least 30 days before the departure date.
    • If canceled 30 days before the departure, 50% of the total trip cost will be deducted, and the remaining balance will be refunded. If only a 50% deposit has been paid, no refund will be provided.
    • No refunds will be issued if the trip is canceled less than 30 days before the departure date.
  • Company Cancellations
    Ascend Treks reserves the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters or civil unrest. In such cases, a full refund or alternative tour will be provided.
    • If the trek/tour cannot be completed due to the customer’s personal circumstances, no refund will be issued.
    • If the trek/tour is extended beyond the itinerary, additional charges may apply.
  • Passports, Visas, and Immigration
    It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documents. A Nepalese visa can be obtained online from your home country or upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport.
  • Travel Insurance
    We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover health, trip cancellations, and other travel-related risks.
  • Trip Postponement
    If you need to postpone your trip, please provide written notice to reschedule for a later date.
  • Liability and Risk
    Ascend Treks is not responsible for any delays or changes caused by natural disasters, war, strikes, or other events beyond our control.
  • Personal Injury and Loss
    Ascend Treks is not liable for personal injuries, loss, or damage to personal property during the trip.
  • Privacy Policy
    Ascend Treks is committed to protecting your privacy and will use your personal information only in accordance with our privacy policy.
