Everest View Trek : Short and Scenic Himalayan Adventure

Your journey begins with your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Upon landing, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel, a popular tourist hub, or resting after your journey. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and a briefing about the trek ahead.

Start your day with an early morning flight to Lukla, a thrilling 30-minute journey that offers breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayas. Lukla, often called the gateway to the Everest region, marks the starting point of your trek. After a brief stop in Lukla, you begin your hike to Phakding. The trail descends gradually, passing through small villages, lush forests, and the Dudh Koshi River. After about four hours of walking, you reach Phakding, where you can relax in a teahouse and prepare for the trek ahead.

After breakfast, you set out on a six-hour trek to Namche Bazaar, the bustling hub of the Everest region. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. As you ascend, you pass through beautiful pine forests and charming villages like Monjo and Jorsale. You’ll enter the Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where your trekking permit will be checked. The final stretch is a challenging uphill climb, but the first glimpse of Everest makes it worthwhile. Upon reaching Namche Bazaar, settle into a cozy lodge and explore the vibrant market.

Today is one of the highlights of your trek as you hike to the Everest View Hotel. The trail climbs steadily, offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks, including Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and, of course, Mount Everest. Reaching the Everest View Hotel, the highest-altitude hotel in the world, you’ll be treated to spectacular panoramic views from its terrace. Take your time to soak in the scenery before descending back to Namche Bazaar. The trek takes 4–5 hours in total, providing ample time to explore Namche further or rest for the evening.

After breakfast, you begin your descent to Lukla. The trail retraces your steps, offering an opportunity to revisit the stunning landscapes and villages you passed earlier. While the trek is mostly downhill, it can be physically demanding due to the long duration of 6–7 hours. Upon reaching Lukla, celebrate the completion of your trek with your fellow trekkers and guides, enjoying a warm meal and the lively atmosphere of this small mountain town.

Early in the morning, you board your return flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. The 30-minute journey offers a final chance to admire the Himalayan peaks from the air. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel and spend the day at leisure. You can explore the city’s UNESCO World Heritage sites, shop for souvenirs, or simply relax. In the evening, join a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of your trek.

On your last day in Nepal, our representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of the Everest View Trek, the breathtaking Himalayas, and the warm hospitality of the Sherpa community.
