Day 01 :

Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport and Transfer to Hotel
Your adventure begins with your arrival in Kathmandu. After clearing customs, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you can rest and recover from your flight. Day 02 :

Drive Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,503m)

Duration: 6-7 hours
After breakfast, you will begin your scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the gateway village for the trek. The drive will take you through winding mountain roads alongside the Trishuli River, passing lush valleys, terraced fields, and small villages. You will reach Syabrubesi in the evening, where you can take a stroll around the village and prepare for the trek ahead.

Day 03 :

Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,500m)

Duration: 5-6 hours
The first day of trekking will take you from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel. The trail ascends gradually through dense forests of rhododendron, bamboo, and oak trees. You will cross several suspension bridges and enjoy views of the Langtang Khola (river). Along the way, you might encounter wildlife like monkeys or birds. Lama Hotel offers a peaceful stop to relax and acclimatize for the higher elevations.

Day 04 :

Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m)

Duration: 5 hours
Today’s trek will take you deeper into the Langtang Valley. As you leave the forests behind, the landscape opens up, and you get your first views of the majestic Langtang Lirung (7,227m). The trail continues through the valley, passing several small settlements before reaching Langtang Village, where you will experience the culture of the Tamang people and enjoy stunning mountain views.

Day 05 :

Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,830m)

Duration: 4 hours
From Langtang Village, you’ll trek towards Kyanjing Gompa. The trail follows the Langtang River and offers amazing views of the surrounding peaks, including Langtang Lirung. As you reach the end of the valley, you will arrive at Kyanjing Gompa, a small Tibetan Buddhist monastery located in a spectacular setting surrounded by mountains. You’ll have time to explore the gompa and its surroundings.

Day 06 :

Kyanjing Gompa Exploration Day

Optional hike to Kyanjin Ri (4,773m)
This is your acclimatization day. You can explore Kyanjing Gompa and visit the nearby Kyanjin Ri for a stunning panoramic view of the Langtang Himal, including Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, and other peaks. Day 07 :

Kyanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel (2,500m)

Duration: 5-6 hours
After a restful exploration day, you’ll retrace your steps down the valley from Kyanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel. The descent will be easier on your body, but you can still enjoy the scenic views of the valley and surrounding mountains. As you descend, you’ll pass through villages and lush forests, arriving back at Lama Hotel for the night.

Day 08 :

Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2,235m)

Duration: 5-6 hours
Today’s trek takes you from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru, a beautiful village with a fantastic view of the Ganesh Himal. The trail climbs gradually through dense forests, passing through small settlements along the way. Thulo Syabru offers a more tranquil experience compared to Langtang Village, and it is a great place to relax and immerse yourself in the Tamang culture.

Day 09 :

Thulo Syabru to Shin Gompa (3,330m)

Duration: 3-4 hours
From Thulo Syabru, the trek continues to Shin Gompa (also known as Chandanbari), where you’ll be greeted with panoramic views of the Langtang Himal and Ganesh Himal ranges. The trail is shorter and steeper today, but the journey through dense forests and the peaceful atmosphere at Shin Gompa make it a rewarding stop.

Day 10 :

Shin Gompa to Gosainkunda (4,380m)

Duration: 5-6 hours
Today’s trek takes you to the sacred Gosainkunda Lake, an important pilgrimage site for Hindus. The trail ascends through dense forests and rocky terrain before reaching a series of alpine lakes. Upon reaching Gosainkunda, you will be surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. The lake itself is considered sacred, and many pilgrims come here for spiritual cleansing.

Day 11 :

Gosainkunda to Ghopte (3,530m) via Lauribinaya Pass (4,610m)

Duration: 7 hours
This is one of the most challenging days of the trek. You will ascend to the Lauribinaya Pass at 4,610 meters, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges. After crossing the pass, the trail descends towards Ghopte, a small village where you will spend the night. The long trek today will challenge your endurance but offer some of the most spectacular mountain views of the entire trip.

Day 12 :

Ghopte to Melamchigaun (2,530m)

Duration: 6-7 hours
Today’s trek takes you to Melamchigaun, a village located at a lower altitude. The trail descends through forests, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. As you walk through small villages, you’ll get a deeper understanding of the rural lifestyle and culture of the people in this remote part of Nepal.

Day 13 :

Melamchigaun to Tarkehyang (2,600m)

Duration: 2-3 hours
Today is a relatively short and easy trek from Melamchigaun to Tarkehyang. The trail follows a gradual descent through rhododendron forests, passing by small Tamang villages. Tarkehyang is a peaceful village where you can rest and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains.

Day 14 :

Tarkehyang to Kathmandu

Duration: 3-4 hours
On your final day of trekking, you’ll make your way down to Sundarijal, a town on the outskirts of Kathmandu. From Sundarijal, you will drive back to Kathmandu. The drive offers scenic views of the valley and nearby hills. Once back in Kathmandu, you can relax, do some last-minute shopping, or enjoy a farewell dinner in the city.

Day 15 :

Final Departure

Depending on your flight time, you may have some time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Kathmandu. Afterward, you’ll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure.
